In case you missed it last week, listener Big Jed said the Time Tunnel songs we were playing brought back some great memories of dress-up parties in Julie's Nightclub. We managed to get our hands on a photo from these nights thanks to ex-Julie's bouncer Ken!
Well, that opened a whole can of worms that we weren't prepared for! Suddenly we were swamped with texts, phone calls and emails with everyone wants to share their best memories of Julie's. You need to hear Victoria from Sunderland's story involving a few drinks, roller skates and a dance off!
But then we had a call from Kendall from Stockton who said 'I wish there was still a place like Julie's, a place for me and the girls to still go to and bring back some memories'.
That gave us an idea, we should try our luck and bring Julie's for one night only! We know where it used to be and we know that the venue is now a new bar called Tiger Hornsby.
We thought why not be a bit cheeky? We picked up the phone and called the manager of Tiger Hornsby and she's given us a pretty tough challenge:
