Rafael Nadal, Carlos Alcaraz to Headline Netflixs Next Live Sports Event in One-Night Tenni

Netflix is adding another live sports event to its calendar: the Netflix Slam, featuring Spain’s Rafael Nadal and Carlos Alcaraz in a special one-night tennis exhibition match.
The event is scheduled for Sunday, March 3, 2024, at noon PT at the Michelob Ultra Arena at MGM Resorts International’s Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas. It will stream as a duaI broadcast in English- and Spanish-language markets. Netflix said additional players and matchups will be announced at a later date.
Netflix recently bowed its first live sports event, the Netflix Cup, a golf tournament that will pit race-car drivers from its popular Formula 1 documentary series “Drive to Survive” against golfers from a similar series called “Full Swing.” It’s other non-live sports programming has included “Break Point,” “Untold,” “Quarterback,” “Tour de France: Unchained,” “Under Pressure: The U.S. Women’s World Cup Team,” and upcoming series following athletes in track and field, rugby and NASCAR.
